This is a sweet book at 32 pages long. It is intended for readers between the ages of 4 and 8.
First I want to talk about the content. I find myself using the, "I brought you into this world..." more often then I care to admit. This story is the other side of that. It tells a child the joys that becoming a mother has brought them, and how it has changed them. Every part of this is so true to how I feel about being a mother. I really like this. The very last page was wonderful.
The story is simple, and consists of about one sentence per page. The reading levels stays consistent throughout.
The illustrations are consistent to the cover art.
This would make the perfect gift for a child from their motherer. I will be giving this to my 7 year old on Mother's Day. I do wish there was a version similar for older kids.
I recieved a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
