Jessica's Book Thoughts

This weekend was interesting. When we move I forgot to set up automatic withdrawal on my utilities. Well, we went all weekend without gas and water all weekend. I am so glad we had the portable propane water heater we use when we go camping, and that we had a hose long enough to reach from the small house (which is the utilities I accidentally for got to turn off...lol). My water just got turned back on. Why the guy who came to turn it off couldn't wait the five minutes it took me to pay online, I don't know. The gas, I didn't figure out until I sunk my ass into a freezing cold bath tub right before the water guy showed up, it won't be back on until this weekend. Cooking was interesting and done mostly outside on the grill. The kids thought we were "Ruffin it", pampered asses.

Also, this weekend, I wasn't very active. My kids had friends, teenagers and tweens, over to do school projects. They took over my laptop, desk top computer, and my tablet. I was restricted to my phone and dinkle koob (that is my kindle book). The projects were great though, and I am sure everyone of them will get a A. I had so much fun helping. And my refere nce library, both digital and physical got so much use. My husband always thought it was ridiculous that I kept two sets of encyclopedias, World Book and an older Funk & Wagnals. Showed you Donald Fox. I knew they would get used. I picked them up at a yard sale for u Der 20 dollars total.
