Reading progress update: I've read 35 out of 484 pages.
Yesterday I thought I had misplaced this. Turns out I really just set it down and a client fell in love with the cover and decided to take it to bed with them. We will be sharing this. It is now my turn to read.
So far a retired military general is being threatened with a cut in her pension pay amount. She has to come back to work for a couple of months or she will lose a boatload of money each month. She discovers the reason behind all this is to try to cover something else up...
