Jessica's Book Thoughts

I really liked Dark's Seven series. I am a couple books behind, but plan on remedying that soon. This book came in a bundle with the next three installments for just over five bucks, decent price, and so far it is worth the purchase.

This series is centered around a newly made female mage. There is a love triangle, or rather a love square going on. There is some rather graphic torture scenes that some may find offensive, but these parts are essential to the story and really made me despise the bad guys and root for the good. The characters are really well written, I feel this is where Dark is the strongest. She has a knack for really keeping a character consistent but complex at the same time.
